Jaire

Jaire is a two-piece instrumental math rock/post punk band from Kathmandu, Nepal. Their debut EP, titled "Prakriti | Prabriti," was just released. The EP is a collection of tales that center on the band members' encounters with issues relating to animal rights, veganism, enjoyment of nature, separation from society standards, profound love and empathy for their loved ones, and other related topics. Together, the guitarist Mannu Shahi and the drummer Birat Basnet make up this band. The two have been involved in a variety of projects and are well-known figures in the music industry, including progressive punk, folk, and countless other endeavors (such as Jerusha Rai's most recent Nepal tour).
