Mackiller

A Pokhara-based alternative rock band called Mackiller was founded in 2008 or 2009. The moniker "Mackiller 107" was chosen since the band used to hook their bass guitar into an old cassette that was attached to a woofer by that name. The word "mackiller" connotes steadiness and a determination to persist despite challenges that people or artists may encounter. Elvin Pariyar on guitar, Safal Pariyar on drums, Robin Gurung on bass, and Roshan Gurung on guitar make up the band. Early on, the band would improvise and cover songs by a significant influence, Albatross. The band took a few years off after triumphing in the NTHMC-hosted Inter College Band Competition that year.
