Subir Shrestha and Abhijeet Mananda Bajrcharya, two college friends from Kathmandu, Nepal, created Manual Transmission, a three-piece hard rock band, in 2004 as a result of their shared musical preferences. Subir Shrestha on guitar and vocals, Abhijeet Mananda Bajracharya on bass, and Shyam Shrestha on drums make up the band's current line-up. influenced by a variety of musicians and bands, including Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd, Deep Purple, and RATM. Their particular type of music combines socially conscious lyrics with groovy strong riffs. In 2014, they released their self-titled debut album. The second untitled album by Manual Transmission is currently being worked on, and the band plans to release it in early 2022.
