Bio

Salil Maharjan is a singer-songwriter from Kathmandu, Nepal. He graduated with honours in music, in the UK. He had his debut single (Nepali) 'Chitta Bujhaunu, released in the summer of 2019 as a collaboration with his childhood friend N.Y.A (Nikesh Acharya), who helped mix and master the track, and since then, Salil has been a name to look out for in the music industry.

He started his career as a lead singer for the band Sabotage where he'd later won an individual award for the best vocalist on the 12th KCM ICMC, which is one of the biggest music competitions held in Nepal for underground rock music-and later on winning the 14th title with his band Blue Skin. Salil's inspiration comes from various other musicians, from the likes of Black Sabbath and Led Zeppelin to LAy, Ben Howard, and Jack Johnson.

Salil recently released his first English single with a music video off of his upcoming EP album, Pop Stories from Britain siR. 'back & forth' is out on all major streaming platforms.
