Rohini Lake Garden

Located 66km from Darjeeling, Rohini located on the new road constructed to connect Siliguri with Kurseong was a very isolated place and was only known for its Chinese origin tea garden which was planted on the lower part of Rohini. Rohini started gaining popularity as a famous picnic spot among the locals and travelers for its beautiful natural surrounding when Darjeeling Gorkha Hill Council took initiatives to develop the place. Be engulfed by the soothing breezes while feasting your eyes with the mesmerizing view of the Siliguri surrounded by meandering river stream along with the view of green lofty mountains cuddling Kurseong from the hilltop of Rohini. Travel on the Rohini road in its serpentine form with various curves and bends which has fascinated the mind of many travelers while few fortunate one have even witnessed some wild elephants along the journey to this picturesque location.
